Note: To output 4K UHD content, your display must be capable of those features. If you are connecting your sooka TV Stick to your 4K HDR TV through an AV receiver or sound bar, the AV receiver or soundbar must support HDMI 2.0 (with HDCP 2.2).

21. How do I navigate and control the sooka TV Stick?
You can navigate the sooka TV Stick using a Bluetooth-enabled remote control that comes with the device.
Function of the keys on the remote control are as follows:

You can configure the sooka TV Stick remote to send HDMI-CEC or IR volume commands to control your AV receiver or TV. Go to Settings -> Remote & accessories -> TV Control Mode to choose between “Auto (HDMI-CEC)”, “IR Mode(TV Brand)” or “sooka TV Stick”. By default, it is set to Auto (HDMI-CEC)
For “Auto (HDMI-CEC)” TV Control Mode: You’ll need to ensure that HDMI-CEC is enabled in your TV Settings, here are the HDMI-CEC settings name for popular TV Brands:

23. Does sooka TV Stick support casting, how?
Yes, sooka TV Stick supports casting, allowing you to cast content from your mobile device to the TV. Please note that the exact steps may vary slightly based on the brand and model of your Android phone. Additionally, some Android devices may use terms like "Cast," "Smart View," or "Screen Share" instead of "Screen Mirroring."
You may follow these steps to perform casting:
- Ensure Wi-Fi Connectivity
- Make sure your Android phone and sooka TV Stick are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Enable Screen Mirroring/Casting on sooka TV Stick
- By default, sooka TV Stick has the screen mirroring/casting enabled.
- Access Cast/Screen Mirroring on Your Android Phone
- On your Android phone, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the notification shade.
- Look for an icon labeled "Cast" or "Screen Mirroring" (this may vary slightly depending on your device).
- Tap on the Cast/Screen Mirroring icon.
- Select sooka TV Stick
- Your Android phone will search for available devices. Select “sooka TV-v1” from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, your Android phone screen will be mirrored on your Android TV.
To stop screen mirroring, return to the Cast/Screen Mirroring settings on your Android phone and choose to disconnect or stop casting.
24. How much storage does the sooka TV Stick have?
sooka TV Stick has 8 GB of storage which is to be used for the operating system, applications and app data. Note: Device comes with 16GB storage.
25. Why does my sooka dongle go to standby after several hours?
This is an Android TV power-saving feature that will turn off the screen after 3 hours of inactivity. A prompt will be displayed to the user before the screen turns off. To continue watching, you just need to press the “OK” button on sooka remote to dismiss.
26. Why isn't Netflix available on the sooka TV stick?
At sooka, we're working to expand the availability of apps on our sooka TV stick. While the Netflix app isn't available on the sooka TV stick at this time, we're actively exploring options with Netflix to bring the app to the platform in the future.
